Age

To hire a car you should be minimum 21 years of age

License

1. You are required to have a valid Qatar Driving License or International driving license foreign driving license

2. If you are using an International driving license, that would be valid only for six month from your date of arrival into the country( until print qatar RP).

3. If you are using a foreign driving license, it would be valid only for 07 days from your date of arrival into the country.

4. If you wish to rent a car for more than 15 days (but do not intend to take up permanent residence) you will need to take a temporary driving license. The responsibility of obtaining that license is yours. We can however, assist you in getting one.

5. If you do not have a temporary license and an accident occurs to your rented vehicle, you will be responsible for all damages to the car as well as the third party’s vehicle.

Security

An open and signed imprint of the credit card (for individual renters) will be taken as deposit at the start of the rental. At the end of the rental period, payment can be made by cash or credit card. If you incur any traffic violation during the lease, fines would be charged to the credit card.

Insurance

All vehicles have full comprehensive insurance with an excess on policy of Qrs 2500 for own damage

Fuel

All vehicles will provided with a minimum of half tank fuel. No fuel consumption charges will be levied on customers.

Additional Driver

1. The rental vehicle is normally only insured for the person who makes the rental.

2. If others plan to drive the car, they must be added to the Rental Agreement when the car is collected.

3. Additional drivers are subject to the same conditions regarding age, driving license.

4. There will be no extra charge for additional driver

Rates

Car rentals are for a minimum period of 24 hours. Extra hours would be charged after 02 hours daily rate. Rates are inclusive of insurance and maintenance but exclude fuel charges.

POLICE FINES:

All fines levied by the traffic for speeding, parking offenses as well as accidents are the responsibility of the renter. A service charge of QR 25  will be applicable if Jabrco rent a car  has to clear it in the Traffic Dept.
